I was looking for a plumber to help us install a dishwasher and move the washing machine and found Brendan here. The communication was fast and easy and he came on rather short notice, which was great! He knows what he’s doing and everything was done within one hour and the price was more than fair! I would recommend him anytime. He’s the type of handyman that one needs. So you can tell that I’m really happy with his service and hope his business goes well in the future.

It's great having someone who is english! Brendan has fixed our major leak , put in new shower, serviced the boiler and sorted out the cold radiators. He's a STAR highly recommend him. Thank you

I contacted Brendan for an urgent replacement part late on a Friday, and he promptly arrived in less than two hours! Hooked up my new washing machine too :) Friendly, competent and reliable. Would definitely recommend!

Brendan has done a fantastic job! He was quick to answer the phone on a weekend and was upfront about what the job would entail and cost. He completed the job in fast order, was courteous enough to offer insight on the issues at hand. He was also a pleasant chat to boot! I'll certainly continue to use his services should I need them. Highly recommended!

We looked through the internet for an English speaking plumber and we choose Brendan after reading the reviews he had.We called Brendan twice and both times we are happy that we have called him. He checked the heating system the first time and the second time he fixed the leakage in the kitchen that we had,he is very good in explaning things and he is a polite man we sure recommend Brendan.

I called Brendan at short notice for a blocked and leaking kitchen sink, he fit me into his schedule at short notice, fixed the problem and explained to me why the sink was blocked and gave me tips on how to keep my dishwasher clean. Brendan is super professional and good value for money. Will recommend to anyone looking for a good plumber! Thank you Brendan

Brendan is an extremely knowledgeable about his art and passionate about it too! He takes great care to ensure a good, professional finish to his work. He completed a bathroom installation for us, which was full of challenges and atypical situations. He was able to solve all those problems in a timely and efficient manner and we are very pleased with his work. We recommend him thoroughly.

Brendan is the only plumber I would use in Amsterdam. He is trustworthy, quick to respond and super friendly. I have been ripped off many times in Amsterdam and I know this wouldn't happen with Brendan. He has been servicing our boiler since we arrived in The Netherlands and has come out to install our washing machine, helped us with a blocked drain that flooded our apartment and generally looked after our heating system. All in all a really nice guy who knows what he's doing.

I moved in earlier in the month and the newly “renovated” apartment was not truly move in ready and I’ve spent the last few weeks dealing with several issues. The most recent one to tackle, the shower isn’t draining water in a timely fashion and has been backed up. I contacted my landlord and they informed me it was my responsibility to deal with (though I’ve just recently moved in and clearly didn’t cause the issue). As an expat who doesn’t speak a word of Dutch it’s been a struggle, as some people don’t speak English, and many people seem willing to overcharge ex pats simply because they can (everything else involved with renting this nightmare apartment has been reflective of that). All of that is to give context when I say I’m so thankful I stumbled upon Brendan on Google. He really listened when I explained my issue and he agreed to fit me in the next day (given the holidays I was beyond thrilled) and had reasonable prices. Brendan was communicative the following day when we arranged for him to come by, and when he showed up he very quickly and efficiently determined that the backup was due to a poor shower drain installation (numerous pieces of concrete debris etc., and the drain grating still had on the protective wrap that you are supposed to take off when it is installed). Brendan was nice, funny, and we had a great conversation while he worked removing the concrete and very quickly seems to have fixed my issue. Brendan charged me an incredibly reasonable fee in general, but especially given the fact it was somewhat of an emergency call and on a holiday (and I think it was less than what he even quoted me on the phone). If you need a friendly, knowledgeable, fairly priced plumber Brendan should be your first and only call. But if you are an expat, you definitely should call him just for the level of communication and honest business practices. This guy is really great. Thanks Brendan!

Highly recommended! Brendan did a great job at reasonable prices. He's very friendly and reliable. We replaced two taps—one standard for the bathroom and one kitchen mixer tap with a pull-out spout. He fit us into his schedule quickly, and the job was done perfectly. Happy to find a true professional in Amsterdam.
